We are proud to serve our community beyond providing high-quality and accessible healthcare close to home. Great River Health takes a holistic approach with the health and wellness of our communities by partnering with public health organizations to better understand and meet our community's unique needs, stimulating and sustaining local economies by employing over 2,000 residents, leading numerous volunteering initiatives, offering scholarships and learning opportunities to healthcare students, and giving back financially through the Great River Health and Henry County Health Center Foundations.
HEALTH NEEDS ASSESSMENT
The Community Health Needs Assessment and Health Improvement Planning (CHNA & HIP) is a result of collaboration and partnership between Great River Health and public health departments to identify the community's greatest unmet healthcare needs.
The collaboration consists of an analysis of community health needs and assets and includes a set of priorities and objectives for taking action. Community participation for making decisions about improving the community’s health and mobilizing support and resources is required as part of this process.
We use these results to create a response to the identified needs, increase access to care, and improve the health of people living in the communities we serve.

Donations, Sponsorships, Health Fairs & Presentations
Great River Health is a not-for-profit organization committed to meeting the healthcare needs of the communities we serve. Each year, we receive many requests for donations, sponsorships, tours, and representation at community events. Great River Health enjoys supporting events and projects that align with our mission, vision, and values. But our financial and employee resources are limited.
Organizations seeking donations, sponsorships, tours, and event representation must submit requests using the form below. Requests are reviewed twice a month. Only those who are granted support will be contacted by email. Organizations may receive one sponsorship or donation per year; if an organization has multiple events in a year, they should be submitted in one request.
Preference is given to:
- Events or activities that have the greatest opportunity for affecting the health and wellness of the community
- Civic or community events/activities
To be considered, requests must meet these criteria:
- Requests must be made at least 45 days before your event/activity.
- The requesting organization must demonstrate effective program performance, financial responsibility, and accountability.
- The group, program, or event must provide appropriate visibility and value-added opportunities for Great River Health.
Donation and sponsorship exclusions:
- Events that feature alcohol or tobacco products
- Fraternal, labor, political or religious organizations, or political candidates
- Individuals (including travel-related requests or participation in fundraising efforts)
- School yearbook ads
- School, travel, or youth sports teams & clubs
- General fundraisers for public or private schools
Great River Health reserves the right to deny any request. Financial support for health- or community-related requests is not guaranteed. Past support or participation does not guarantee future support or participation.
