I've bringing my mom, who's 89, regularly for years.She asks follow-up questions to clarify when Mom makes an off-hand comment about a symptom and then explains why she gives her recommendations. As she works on Mom's feet, we catch up on life. It's like a quick visit to a friend. Makes digging into her ingrown toenail more tolerable because Mom is mentally engaged.Patient Submitted Review

I saw Dr Gerdes for the first time for a ganglion cyst on the left side of my left foot that kept reoccurring and filling with fluid. I previously had it drained 2 times prior by another physician out of town. This time the cyst was much larger and very painful and was black in color. She spent a lot of time asking the past history of the cyst before treating it. She excised it and completely drained it. She sent the matter off for a culture to be sure something else wasn't happening. She had me return in one week for follow-up. Once again she was patient and thorough in her exam and recommendations. I was very pleased with her and her nurse. I would recommend her to anyone!Patient Submitted Review
