Henry County Health Center-Mediapolis Clinic Closing

Great River Health announces the closure of the Henry County Health Center-Mediapolis Clinic, effective August 2nd, 2024. We understand this news may be inconvenient, and we deeply appreciate the trust and support the Mediapolis community has shown us over the years.

This decision wasn't easy, but Dr. Joel Ryon, Chief Medical Officer of Great River Health, assures a seamless transition for patients. "We remain committed to ensuring you continue receiving the high-quality care you deserve," Dr. Ryon stated.

Options for Continuing Your Care:

Patients receiving care at the Mediapolis Clinic can easily transfer their care. Nearby hospitals and clinics include Southeast Iowa Regional Medical Center, West Burlington which offers primary care appointments and walk-in services, and the Wapello Clinic, which has primary care providers accepting appointments.

  • Call (319) 768-1570 to establish care with a provider at our West Burlington campus.
  • Call (888) 377-7791 to establish care with a provider at the Wapello Clinic.

We are incredibly grateful to Mediapolis Clinic provider, Naarah Hauenstein and the entire clinic team for their dedicated service to the community. Great River Health System, which acquired the clinic in 1998, remains committed to serving the community's healthcare needs at its other nearby locations.
