Healthcare Access & Quality
You Matter!
Health starts in our families, neighborhoods, schools and jobs.
Did you know that your quality of life started when you were born and is impacted by where you live, learn, work and play? Your environment, which includes health care access and quality, can directly affect your overall health and well-being.
About 1 in 10 people in the United States don’t have health insurance. This means they may not be able to afford health care services and medications resulting in not receiving health care services they need. Access to healthcare providers can also be a challenge. Providing access to high-quality health care services is vital to improving health and living longer.
