Pre-Diabetes
What is Pre-Diabetes?
Prediabetes is a condition where your blood sugar level is higher than normal, but not high enough to be classified as having type 2 diabetes. Without medical intervention, prediabetes can progress to type 2 diabetes in approximately 10 years or less. Prediabetes can cause the same damages to the organs, such as your heart, kidneys, nerves, and eyes, like type 2 diabetes.
